thank you! i think what makes Cannes really unique is that it's one of a handful of festivals where almost every attendee is traveling from somewhere else, and most people are watching multiple movies a day so it's an all-consuming experience. I think only Sundance and Venice come close. (an NYFF survey wouldn't be nearly as interesting)
